Visa Matters Simplified through the International Event Coordinator Network (IECN)
The International Event Coordinator Network (IECN) provides a free service to event organisers and participants. Experienced IECN coordinators offer guidance on appropriate visas and the visa application process for international visitors.
International visitors who wish to attend an event, conference or meeting in Australia are encouraged to apply for the appropriate visa at least four to six weeks before departing for Australia.
The IECN can help identify the most appropriate visas and explain visa requirements and timeframes, while also providing guidance to resolve issues involved in the visa application process.
Contact the IECN early in the event planning process to help organise visa arrangements for international participants.
For help with visas please contact the International Event Coordinator Network (IECN) on +61 1300 550 684 (outside Australia international call charges apply), or complete an online enquiry form at www.immi.gov.au/contacts/forms/iecn/.
More information on the IECN is available at www.immi.gov.au/visitors/event-organisers-participants/.
